This Site was Inspired by Rose “Rosey” Zlatanovski (Parkes) who was fiercely loyal to family. It was there in her own written words. It was there in the incredible pictures that surfaced and the family members who came to celebrate her life as a Loving Daughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin, Aunt, Wife & Mother.

For Rosey and All Our Loved Ones who are gone but not forgotten.

Our Story

In researching our history, it was stunning just how many family trees were uncovered. As it turns out, We are Descendants of a Forest.

We are about the past and the future and our story needs to be told.

The question is are we going to leave it up to someone else to tell? What are we leaving behind for our children and grandchildren? How will they know where they came from and who came before them? What about all the amazing pictures and the ones we haven’t seen? Why wait until we are gone to celebrate all of this? How do we re-connect and stay connected with each other now?

All these questions lead here, to a place where we can share our lives with each other while honoring the past and all the important things about this family.

So Our Descendants Know Our Story.

Many thanks to all who have helped over the years to put this together but there's still a lot of work left to do to fill in missing members, branches and trees.
